Our Mission

We help companies turn appreciation into measurable impact!

What began as a creative outlet during pregnancy and early motherhood became a mission driven business rooted in purpose. As a Black woman and immigrant in Canada, I have experienced firsthand how access and opportunity are not always equal. Building this company became a way to create opportunity not only for myself, but for others.

Today, Vanilla and Lilies Gifts curates impactful corporate gifting experiences that do more than express appreciation. Our gifts are intentionally sourced from black, indigenous people of color (BIPOC) and small female owned Canadian businesses that actively give back to their communities.

We have supported more than 30 women led and BIPOC owned small businesses across Canada. A portion of our revenue is donated to Hope Mission shelters in Calgary and Edmonton. Many of the brands we partner with contribute to meaningful causes, including Indigenous women’s advocacy, employment programs for individuals recently released from prison, tree planting initiatives, and donations to homeless shelters.
